But, let's keep it real, here. coaching is NOT a instant fix-everything, magic pill solution like some people say it is. You could have Tony Robbins as your coach, and still not get any results if you're not willing to put in the time, thought and work that it takes to make progress.
Having said that, life coaching IS, in my opinion, possibly the MOST effective tool for making personal progress, because it's an future-focused, ongoing relationship that raises your internal awareness, your responsibility for your growth and your self belief.

Oh, and let's not forget the baggage that gets dropped! Well, that is just beautiful. That bit is the best part of my job. [You can see the before and After photos in the video below.] And after that happens, the future just opens up like a flower for those people! Why? Because their vibration changes. Their filters change. The clouds have gone and they attract more good things and opportunities to themselves. Furthermore, they have a new found energy from not running the old track in their minds 24/7.
If you are ready to change, the coach is just the catalyst. But remember, hiring a life coach, without putting in the work and taking the steps to change is a lot like buying a treadmill and then never using it. YOU WON'T GET RESULTS IF YOU DON'T TURN UP.
Naturally, I get really excited when I can see that a client is soooooo ready. It is like half the work is done for me. I can feel it when they are about to TRANSFORM like a butterfly. And the neat part about shifting old issues is that you can see the change in the body somatically. Clients look younger, lighter, freer and more relaxed. Moreover, I also get positive feedback from partners.
So What Does a Life Coach Do?
- The primary purpose of most life coaches is to help people get better results for themselves quicker than they would on their own.
- They are non-biased and intuitive: An experienced life coach is someone who listens, questions, challenges false beliefs, is able to see the difference between what a client says he wants and really wants, and helps a client gain focus and clarity on a host of issues.
- They create programs tailored for you to push through resistance, stuckness and self-sabotage.
- They hold you accountable: A life coach helps you to identify and achieve goals by providing support, accountability, and a structured approach to achieving a personal milestone.
The Coaching Process
And it works! The coaching process will uncover more about you than you expect. Firstly, it begins by the an awareness of patterns and unpacking the issues that need to be worked on (The What?). Secondly, we dissolve old traumas, mental blockages and limiting beliefs (The Why?) Basically, anything that is holding you back. Thirdly, we set goals and create a toolbox of skills for on-going empowerment that you can use yourself (The How?).

Over the past decade I have worked with thousands of clients with life changing results.
Here's what I recommend that you do: Write down where you'd love to be in your life in the next 6 to 12 months. Look at the following areas of your life, which I call the LifeGrid: Career, Health, Personal Growth, Money, Relating, Fun, Setting (your home/ work environment), Partner etc., and come up with at least one outcome for each area. You can even make a Visionboard. I make one every five years.

The Point of Difference with Ghita
BUT... Even though she was a reasonably, successful Gold Coast Counsellor who used breakthrough methods, she still hadn't quite shifted one important thing... Her own self-label.

Ghita's Story:
It was during a visit to family at the age of 59 that I realised I still had some unfinished business. When you visit family these old labels from childhood come back and hit you like a 4 by 2. The pecking order. The bullying. The disapproval. The mind games. The diminishing. Is it any wonder that people are often estranged in families and fighting occurs at the Christmas table? What we do consistently, defines us and gives us labels. (More under About Ghita page)
But I knew from my training that this was just an old program. An old microchip. An old 'Brand!'
This is exactly why people often can't stop smoking, drinking, eating, self-sabotaging, feeling stuck, etcetera; despite doing hypnotherapy and counselling.
HOW YOU VIEW YOUR PERSONALITY DEFINES EVERYTHING IN YOUR LIFE! This is called the power of identity.

But labels can change. We can change labels with work. It is paramount that we define the labels first though, otherwise we will fall back into a patten that is comfortable.
How did I shift it - you ask?
I did some regression work to find out when I allowed the label to attach to me. The answer is in all my programs. This re-Brand is the step called Identity Shifting.
Then I made changes in many areas of my life.
I couldn't be a leader as the little, irresponsible younger sister BRAND. So you see, to stay in your brand and identity you generally have to have a reason to stay there. There are benefits of some sort. A grievance. Laziness. An unfairness. Something! And we find that something and we work out all it's modus operandi.
The thing that most coaches miss is that they don't help to change the identity of the client
, they just give them a few breakthroughs on bad memories, which are helpful, but not game changing.
So, here are a few questions for you to consider.
- How do you identify yourself? (Identify what is your baseline of reality that you return to?)
- What are the stories you are telling about that identity?

Practical Tools
You will discover, through deep diving, practical skills and honesty activation what truly drives you and holds you back. You will let go of old patterns of behaviour, old personas and old lies that you have been holding onto. This process is not always comfortable, but it changes every aspect of your life when you are not caged in to old schemas and belief systems.
For when a man gets clear about who he is at his core ( and that core is good) it changes everything. He stops seeking validation outside of himself (externally). He leads with integrity. He builds deeper and more meaningful relationships. And it is beautiful!
A man will embody a masculinity and lead (maybe for the first time authentically) - in a grounded and balanced way. Between hard and soft, compassionate and powerful. Not because he is trying to prove something but just because he is simply being genuine.
Many men walk through life wearing a mask. They have been taught to perform. Taught who they must be and all the soft is abandoned. Moreover, taught to be firm and not to feel emotions. Taught to compete and succeed at all costs. To provide but not connect. To know but not to listen and learn. It leaves them hollow: Successful on the outside but lost on the inside. How Will I Know Which Method to Book?
It is a good idea to book in for a free introductory session before committing to a method. That way you, based on your information and goals, you can be certain that you are selecting the best method and right coach for your situation.
What does a Coach Offer that a Counsellor Doesn't?
Self-Development Coaching is more about concentrating on Cause and Effect. Coaching is future focused and will help you to create SPECIFIC GOALS, clarify your direction and remove the limiting beliefs and old grievances which are holding you back. Common 'unconscious work' methods are NLP, Time Line Therapy, Hypnotherapy and more. This deep dive goes where counselling cannot. We hold you accountable for your transformation. We push through the narratives and old lies that you tell yourself.
Counselling places a lot of focus on talking things through (childhood, relationships and life experiences) and understanding things on a conscious level. Often, it allows a release of stress to talk about issues. It does not look at the overall cause of where you find yourself, although it may discover patterns. Also, Counselling is designed to be comforting and empathetic, not confrontational. It is not uncommon for clients to start with counselling and then go deeper into life coaching as they gain trust and beome ready to face their shadow self.
Can I do Online Video Coaching?
Yes, absolutely you can. Just be aware that some methods like Time Line Therapy® method and Submodalities work best face to face for 100% satisfaction in the process. Video sessions are on Brisbane Standard Time.
